Increasingly, many doctors today choose to forego working with health insurance carriers altogether and require payment directly from patients. This is especially true for practitioners who provide alternative forms of care. Because not all insurance companies provide payment for medical treatments that exceed the parameters of conventional medicine, here at Water’s Edge, we are unable to process and rely on insurance claims for payment.
For that reason, all payment for services rendered must be paid directly by each patient. We accept cash and all forms of credit and debit cards for payment, but we do not accept private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare.
Your insurance may pay for some of our services, and we will be happy to provide specific necessary codes so that you can file for reimbursement. If you have a flexible spending account, please discuss your options with our staff.
