What to know before your first visit

To help you get started, you'll find answers to common questions about Water's Edge clinic in our FAQ.

Before your first visit, we'll ask you to complete a Health History questionnaire to tell us about your medical history and current health concerns. We need you to return this form to us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to allow us ample time to thoroughly review your case so we can discuss it with you on your first visit.

What to expect in your initial consultation

At Water's Edge, we'll listen carefully, discuss your case history and health goals, and discern the best treatment approach for your unique needs.

We will explain natural remedies to relieve your symptoms as well as corrective care, and likely recommend diagnostic tests that help pinpoint the root causes of your symptoms. You'll also receive a personalized Health Rebuilding Workbook full of helpful information about your health issues and lab tests, plus worksheets to help you track your progress.

What happens next?

Next, you consider the options for your Health Rebuilding Process, and return for a comprehensive nutritional and hormonal physical exam. Using results from the exam (and any lab tests), we will develop your personalized care plan.

Typically, you'll start with some natural medicines and a metabolic cleanse to jumpstart the healing process to help relieve symptoms and strengthen your body's systems.

What to know about your treatment needs

At Water's Edge, we have a full professional dispensary of botanical medicines, BioIdentical Hormones, homeopathic remedies, and diagnostic tests — easy one-stop shopping to support your healing. Some lab tests are conducted in the office, while others are take-home tests you can do on your own.

What to know about payment & insurance

We require full payment at the time of each office visit, and provide you with the necessary "superbill" to submit your health claims for reimbursal. By not being an insurance provider, we can better serve our patients by spending more time with patients and more time on each case to ensure more comprehensive, successful results.

TIP! Use your FSA — If you have an FSA (Flexible Spending Account) through your health insurance provider, you can use it to pay for your services and medicines at Water's Edge Clinic. The FSA provides a pre-tax advantage for healthcare purchases, and can be used for vitamins and herbal medicines, even if those items aren't covered by your health insurance.
